Buyer's Guide

Preview & Inspect Merchandise

Before you decide to bid on any item, it is highly recommended that you personally inspect the merchandise. The merchandise is only in our possession for a short time and we do not know the full condition of a vehicle. Check the auction calendar listing for specific inspection dates and times on the auction you are interested in.

We cannot allow you to test drive any vehicle due to insurance restrictions. Therefore, inspection is especially important when bidding on a titled unit.

An inspection period is usually scheduled 1-3 days before the auction day, with an additional inspection period the morning of the auction.

Register to Bid

In order to bid, you must register for a bidder's number. Obtaining a bidder's number is free. All you need to bring with you is valid state issued photograph identification such as a driver's license. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to obtain a bidder's number.

Bid Acceptance

You are responsible for all purchases charged to your number. Therefore do not lose your bidding card or lend it out. If a dispute arises regarding a bid it shall be settled by the Auctioneers at their sole discretion.

Once the item or vehicle is awarded to the Buyer it becomes his or her responsibility. Regardless of loss by theft, damage, or destruction, by contract, the Buyer must pay for all items awarded to his or her number.

Everything Sold AS IS WHERE IS

All merchandise is sold "AS IS WHERE IS" with all faults. No guarantees or warranties expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature whatsoever apply.

Fees

In addition to the bid price, a 13% buyer premium will apply to each item unless declared otherwise. A 3% discount is given for payments made by cash, debit card, or cashiers check. There is a $50.00 minimum buyer's fee on titled vehicles. The buyer's fee is taxable.

If you are an Idaho resident, an $8.00 title transfer fee will be charged per vehicle to process the title in your name.

If you are not an Idaho resident or if you are an automobile dealer, an $8.00 document preparation fee will be charged to process and send the title to you by certified mail.

Deposits

At some of our auctions a deposit on titled vehicles may be required as soon as you are awarded the highest bid and the auctioneer says sold. A $200 deposit is due on any vehicle purchase under $5,000. A 10% (ten percent) deposit is due on any vehicle purchase of $5000 or more. The deposit is non-refundable and does not release you from responsibility for paying for the vehicle in full.

Payment

All purchase must be paid in full on the day of the auction in U.S. DOLLARS ONLY. Any payments received after the deadline will be charged a 3% late payment fee.

Acceptable methods of payment are cash, debit card, and Visa or Mastercard. No checks on titled vehicles.

Pickup/Removal

No purchases may be removed from the auction site until paid for in full.

All items must be removed by close of the following business day after the auction, unless otherwise announced. If the purchaser fails to remove any lot within the time specified the lot shall be deemed abandoned and the Auctioneer may resell or remove the item.

Titles

Please allow 6-8 weeks to receive your title. You will receive a 72 hour temporary permit once the vehicle is paid for in full.
