Family-owned and serving Idaho for nearly 50 years, with two Treasure Valley yards in Nampa and Meridian, so you inspect and pick up close to home.
How to Bid & Buy a Vehicle
Buying a car or truck at a Musick auction is simple, and our sales are open to the public. You do not need a dealer license to bid. And because Musick Auction is a registered dealer, we can process your title for you.

1. Register
Create a free account at bid.musickauction.com. It takes a few minutes and lets you bid on any open vehicle lot.

2. Preview & Inspect
See the vehicle in person during preview hours. Check the title, mileage, and condition before you bid.

3. Bid Online
Bid live or set a maximum proxy bid and let the system bid for you up to your limit. Watch the soft close.

4. Pay & Pick Up
Pay your invoice, then pick up locally in Nampa or Meridian. See our full How to Bid guide.
Why Buy With Musick Auction
National salvage and online-only auctions can’t match what a local Idaho auction house offers.

No Dealer License
Our vehicle auctions are open to the public. Anyone can register and bid.

Inspect In Person
Preview every vehicle at our yard, so you never buy sight-unseen.

Clean Titles
Most vehicles sell with clean, transferable titles. We’re not a salvage-only auction, though some lots do carry branded titles.

Local Pickup
Drive your win home the same week, or arrange shipping or auto transport at your expense.
What You Can Buy at Our Vehicle Auctions
Musick runs vehicle auctions regularly in Nampa and Meridian, with fresh consignments, fleet units, and bank repossessions every sale.
Cars & SUVs
Sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, crossovers, minivans, and hybrids. Most are daily drivers or low-mileage, one-owner vehicles with clean, transferable titles.
Trucks & Pickups
One of our most popular categories. Searching for truck auctions in Idaho? We run half-ton through one-ton pickups, diesels, flatbeds, and work trucks across most sales.
Fleet, Gov & Repos
Fleet vehicles, municipal and government surplus, and bank repossessions, often priced well below retail.
Inspect & Pick Up Locally
Two Treasure Valley locations serve buyers in Nampa, Meridian, Boise, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, and all of Ada and Canyon County. Inspect during preview hours, then pick up your vehicle close to home. Out-of-state online auctions can’t do that.

Car & Truck Auction FAQs
New to buying at auction? Here are answers to the questions Treasure Valley buyers ask most about bidding on cars and trucks with Musick Auction. Have a question we didn’t cover? Contact our Nampa or Meridian team and we’ll help.
Do I need a dealer license to buy a car at auction in Idaho?
No. Musick Auction vehicle sales are open to the public, so anyone can register and bid. You do not need a dealer license to buy a car or truck.
Can I inspect a vehicle before I bid?
Yes. We hold preview days at our Nampa and Meridian yards so you can inspect the vehicle, check the title and mileage, and look it over in person before bidding. We recommend it. Inspecting in person is something out-of-state online auctions can’t match.
Are these salvage vehicles or clean-title cars?
Most vehicles at Musick auctions carry clean, transferable titles. We are not a salvage-only auction. Title status is disclosed on each lot, so you always know what you’re bidding on.
What fees do I pay on top of my winning bid?
You’ll pay a buyer’s premium on your winning bid, plus Idaho sales tax (6%) and the state title fee on taxable purchases. Current premium rates and accepted payment methods are listed on our buyer’s premium & payment page.
How does proxy or maximum bidding work?
You can bid live in real time, or set a maximum proxy bid. The system then bids on your behalf in increments up to your maximum, so you don’t have to watch every second. Keep an eye on the soft close, which can extend bidding if a late bid comes in.
How do I pay and pick up my vehicle?
After you win, pay your invoice by the stated deadline, then pick up your vehicle at the Nampa or Meridian location where it’s held. If you need it shipped, you can arrange auto transport at your expense. We list transport companies on our How to Bid & Buy page.
Is financing available for auction vehicles?
Yes. Financing is available for eligible vehicles through our auto financing partner. See our auto financing page to get pre-approved before you bid.
Where are your car and truck auctions held?
We run vehicle auctions in Nampa (1110 E Karcher Rd) and Meridian (1346 N Hickory Ave), serving buyers throughout the Treasure Valley including Boise, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, and all of Ada and Canyon County.
How often do you hold vehicle auctions?
We hold auctions frequently, with new cars, trucks, SUVs, fleet vehicles, and bank repos consigned for nearly every sale. Check our current and upcoming auctions for the next vehicle catalog.

Musick Auction also helps Idaho sellers turn cars, trucks, and fleet vehicles into cash through our consignment process. Skip the hassle of private-party listings.
